The area surrounding the site holds a range of special elements: historical buildings as Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek, dark brick facades and noisy, heavily trafficked roads. Rather than building a traditional house with a long wall as noise barrier, we propose to create a building with multiple green pockets. Circular green spaces divide the building facade into smaller segments, intertwining the existing trees into the building. The building will be green externally as well as internally, with a quiet inner playground and a spacious roof garden with views and direct contact with the green treetops. It is a green oasis for children in the middle of Copenhagen's vibrant metropolis zone.
